Hello and welcome to my website! I am so glad you found my work, and thank you for being here! I am also the artist/owner of Blueberry Road Cards (retail and wholesale).
I’ve always loved to create and make art. I consider myself a self-taught artist, although I minored in art in college. I also attended the ‘women’s art institute’, a unique immerson into artmaking with other women artists in 2018. I worked for many years as an occupational therapist where I enjoyed integrating art into my practice with kids and adults. In this season of my life, I am sinking deep into art making. I am having so much fun and I hope that comes across in my work
One of my very favorite ways to sell my art is on greeting cards! I love that when someone buys a card, they are in a state of kindness and gratitude - and want to express care to another human being. I feel like a little fly on the wall as my card/art is given from one person to another.
In addition to my wholesale card business, I love to make art in so many ways and for so many reasons! I have tons of sketchbooks and art journals. This is a great way to be curious, explore ideas and art materials, and develop visual skill and, oh, it is fun. :) I am interested in creating pieces for gallery and art shows too. I tend to use mixed media including, paint, pencil, and collage, and also love working with found objects.
