After doing the 10/10 hot air balloon challenge, I found myself loving the color and magic of the designs. Building off of those designs and playing with pattern + color + design.

I am having so much fun making art. :)

“Magical Garden”

These are some of my new works. I am leaning in to color. I am leaning into magical. I am leaning into fun.

Does anyone remember in the old cookbooks, when they would say to “add a pinch of smiles” and “a teaspoon of joy”. I don’t know if this is a universal thing, or something just remembered by me. Maybe it was just homemade cookbooks, in the midwest, in the 80s! Anyway, I am getting off topic… I was just relating what “ingredients” I want to include in my art and it made me think of those old cookbooks. see my current recipe below. it is a secret. and please tell everyone.
